2026 UIM-ABP World Aquabike Championship
AQUABIKE PROMOTION CONFIRMS NEW 10-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH THE UIM FOR AQUABIKE RACING
Friday, January 23: Aquabike Promotion is delighted to announce it has extended its agreement with the UIM for another 10 years to be the official promoter of the UIM-ABP World and European Continental Aquabike Championships.
Raimondo di San Germano, CEO of H2O Racing and Aquabike Promotion, met with the UIM’s Secretary General Thomas Kurth at the UIM’s headquarters in Monaco to finalise discussions between the sport’s governing body and the historic long-term promoter of the two prestigious international championships.
Discussions focused on the future direction of the aquabike discipline at an international level, initiatives to stimulate future growth and the continued collaboration between the UIM and Aquabike Promotion. The renewed promotional agreement will run for a further 10-year period, reaffirming the mutual trust and shared vision of the two parties.
“We are delighted to announce the 10-year extension to our long-term agreement to act as the official promoter of the UIM-ABP World and European Aquabike Championships,” enthused Raimondo di San Germano. “We have seen a large increase in entries over the last couple of seasons and burgeoning interest in the sport from all corners of the world. We will soon announce an exciting World Championship calendar to run in conjunction with the European Continental Championship and look forward to another absorbing year of international competition as this sporting discipline continues to grow.
